Network Director
Meet Damon Davis
Damon Davis is first a husband and father of three. Additionally, he's a man with a genuine passion for young people in urban communities. As a child, he grew up in inner-city Detroit and spent several years in the Nashville area. The contrast between northern and southern living helped him to see America through unique lenses, especially regarding urban life. Today, Damon has over nine fruitful years of full-time ministry experience as a Youth Pastor, Outreach Minister, and currently, Senior Pastor. He was privileged to begin his career in ministry at Faith Christian Center, an influential church in Phoenix, AZ, led by pastors, Sean and Erica Moore.
Damon, before being planted in a church, grew up as an at-risk street kid with a knack for finding trouble. At the age of 24, he met Jesus Christ and was radically changed. Since then, he has been introducing countless numbers of people to Jesus while keeping his reputation intact. Contrary to his earlier years, before knowing Christ, Damon is well known for his passionate teaching, understanding of scripture, Christian standard, and ability to help others develop. He has been successful in developing men and women with backgrounds as diverse as young professionals to former drug dealers. His drive for authentic change through Jesus crosses all economic, racial, and academic lines.
As pastor of Collective Community Church and director of SimpleFolk Network he and his wife, Malissa, are mobilizing a network of people from the most powerful entity on the Earth, God's Church, to touch communities in practical and loving ways that anyone can recognize and appreciate.
